my first ever BDJ Box…

BDJ Box!!!

Hehehe.
This post is
long overdue but I just have to blabber about it on the net right?
So here goes.
This was my
first time getting a BDJ box. As far as I know, Glamourbox and BDJ boxes are
the two subscription boxes in the Philippines that are slugging and battling it
out for the title of undisputed queen (and YES, QUEEN) of subscriptions boxes
in the Philippines. (Saladbox, was promising with its March and April 2014
boxes but the May 2014 one was just a reaaaaallllyyy sad box…. Really disappointing.)
I have already
received my first ever Glamourbox subscription box and I was impressed by it
(read related blog entry here) so I was just waiting for BDJ box to send me a
box so that these two could prove to me once and for all who’s the queen bitch,
y’all. (Please excuse my French ^^:)
So onto the
experience recap.
Bdj Box has
dedicated the month of June 2014 subscription box to Benefit. So the products
inside the box were all samples of Benefit’s successful make up products.
Though I am not into make up a lot (the only make up I slap on my face for
everyday use are the following: BB cream, eyebrow pencil, eye liner, lip tint
and gloss and that’s it.) since I prioritize skincare more.
I am pleasantly
surprised though of the contents of the box. It could have been better if at
least one full-sized product was included (though that would be already
toooooooo much coz Benefit make up is just NOT that expensive...yessir it isn't..nope......*goestomyroomwailing soooooooooo expensive...waaaahhhh, I cannot even....).
I must say that performance-wise,
Benefit did not disappoint. For the information of all of you out there, I
attended one of my college friend’s civil wedding. And I used the Benefit samples that I got for my make up instead of getting it done in a salon.
And my verdict
is, I looked flawless (no intention to brag here guys). Now if I just had
enough budget to get my hands on the full products,….sadly,…that’ll be in the
next 20, 30, 40 years!!!
So here are the
pictures of the items I got. (I was hoping I could get the eye cream sample but
alas, you can’t have everything in life.)
I’m waiting for
the July 2014 BDJ Box. Hopefully, BDJ will deliver another ass-kicking
subscription box.
And oh yeah,
before I forget, the winner for this so far for me would be Glamourbox. I would
still love skincare above makeup and my heart would be forever be captured by
it (I do appreciate the samples I received though).
Still,
Glamourbox isn’t letting me subscribed for 3 months. The heck?!

Glamourbox!!! I’m still waiting for a new subscription box for me to get my
hands on. When are you gonna do another one?!!!! Hurry up already!!!!
